Gua sha

Basic Gua Sha Treatment Technique: 

1. Hold the gua sha tool in your hand so that it is always at an angle of about 45 degrees to the area to be treated.
2. With gua sha, you can pull and push along the skin. By regulating the use of force and the speed of movement, you get different effects from the treatment. 
3. Do not treat the top of your bones too firmly, between the bones and the sides are often good treatment areas. Joint areas may also be treated with the gua sha tool.
4. Gua sha can be done on bare skin or with massage oil. It can also be treated through clothing.

Facial Gua Sha Treatment (see video below) 

• Cleanse your face before using the gua sha tool.
• If your skin is very dry, moisturize before the treatment with coconut oil .
• If your skin is oily, no additional moisturizing is necessary.
• Repeat the treatment gently at least ten times to get the best result.
• After the treatment, you may use your preferred skin care products.

Things to consider regarding gua sha treatment: 

1. Drink a glass of water or diluted tea both before and after the treatment. Rest
   for at least ten minutes after the treatment.
2. Gua sha is an effective treatment tool for treating the whole body. It is completely normal that the treated area may be sore 1-2 days after the treatment. During and after the treatment, intense skin redness and even bruising may also occur. This is also normal and indicates an increase in metabolism.
3. Do not use the gua sha tool on:
